In May 2022, Dr Lucherini, FRISSBE senior researcher, was invited and joined the prestigious Editorial Board of the Fire Safety Journal (Elsevier). The journal is the leading publication in the field of fire science and fire safety engineering.

With this addition, FRISSBE is now represented by two researchers in the Editorial Board of the Fire Safety Journal, as Prof Grunde Jomaas has been a member since October 2017.

The members of the Editorial Board have a key role maintaining the quality and impact of the journal and its publications, as well as promoting the journal within the research community. They regularly review articles, suggest additional reviewers, and support the journal Editors in making decisions. Editorial Board members also help with bringing high quality content to the journal, and attract exceptional submissions.
