During the 13th Asia-Oceania Symposium on Fire Science & Technology (AOSFST 2024), Dr Ulises Rojas-Alva delivered a presentation titled “A comprehensive evaluation of fire incident scenarios in secondary schools in England to develop a framework for the environmental analysis of fire safety solutions in the built environment.” This presentation is part of an ongoing project involving several FRISSBE-ZAG researchers, including Dr Andrea Lucherini and others, as well as Dr Martina Manes from the University of Liverpool.
The AOSFST 2024, held from October 21st to 25th in Daegu, South Korea, is a triennial event that brings together fire safety professionals from across Asia and Oceania. The symposium features peer-reviewed paper presentations, keynote lectures by distinguished fire researchers, and poster sessions covering a diverse range of topics within the field.
The symposium provided an excellent platform for sharing insights and advancements in fire safety science, and we are pleased to see our team’s contributions being recognized on such a stage.
