The FRISSBE Forum is a bi-yearly event organized to showcase the progress of the FRISSBE project and it took place today.
The forum was attended by ZAG Slovenija employees (29 attendees), who had the opportunity to learn more about the FRISSBE project and its achievements. The current internal project leaders, Ulises Rojas-Alva, Andrea Lucherini, Matija Uršič and Nik Rus, presented the results of their research on topics. They also highlighted the challenges and opportunities for future work and collaboration. Grunde Jomaas, ERA Chair Holder, also reminded everyone that currently, there is a call open for FRISSBE Internal Projects 2024, with the submission deadline set for the 30th of October. He also announced a public broadcasting of a test of Fire Resistance, that will occur on the 1st of December.
The forum also welcomed four new FRISSBE employees, who joined the project in the past few months. They are Aleš Jug, Dr. Gourav Kamboj, Martin Veit and Kirils Simakovs. They introduced themselves, their background and their research interests. They also expressed their plans and expectations for working on the FRISSBE project.
The FRISSBE Forum was a successful event that fostered communication and encouraged cooperation among ZAG Slovenija researchers. It also demonstrated the potential of the FRISSBE project to contribute to the advancement of fire safety research in ZAG.
