Our recent PV demonstration test, comparing the impact of traditional inclined PV setup versus vertical PV setup on fire behavior, was featured in PV Magazine.

The experimental setup was prepared and the test was performed by our research assistant Kirils and PhD student Nik.

The experiment not only explored the differences between various PV setups but also tested the behavior of roof segments when exposed to external fire sources, both with and without a mitigation layer beneath the roofing membrane. Key findings shed light on the effectiveness of different setups in fire prevention and safety.
