From 10 to 12 June, Dr Aleš Jug, Head of the Fire Research and Innovation Unit at FRISSBE, attended The 4th International Symposium on Fire Safety of Façades FSF 2024 held in Lund, Sweden. The conference, organized by RISE, brought together experts from various fields to discuss the pressing challenges and advancements in façade testing.

The conference provided a platform to emphasize the critical importance of coordinated cooperation between fire laboratories, regulators, and researchers. This collaboration is essential to address the complex issues related to the fire safety of façades, ensuring that testing methods are both robust and reliable.

Dr Jug presented a poster titled "A Phased Approach to Fire Testing of Façade Systems", which outlined a systematic method for evaluating the fire performance of façade systems.
