On August 22, we bid farewell to our interns from the International Masters of Science in Fire Safety Engineering (IMFSE), marking the end of their journey with FRISSBE. Rauan Adikey, Sameed Khan, El Ghalia Serghini, and Akash Jyothivas each delivered a final presentation, showcasing what they learned during their internships. They highlighted the various experiments they conducted, the hands-on activities they participated in, and the skills they honed in our state-of-the-art facilities.

The interns also shared their personal experiences of living in Slovenia. They expressed their admiration for the country’s beauty, culture, and the warmth of its people, making their stay both professionally and personally fulfilling.

One of their fellow interns, Liliana Martinez, presented her findings on August 12 due to prior commitments. Her presentation was equally insightful, reflecting the dedication and growth that all our interns displayed during their time with us.

Following the presentations, the team gathered for a special treat—Dr Ulises Rojas, one of our researchers, prepared a Valencian paella. The FRISSBE team, along with other guests who joined us to say goodbye, enjoyed a delightful meal together, celebrating the interns' contributions and wishing them success in their future endeavours.

We are grateful for the hard work and enthusiasm that Rauan, Sameed, El Ghalia, Akash, and Liliana brought to FRISSBE, and we look forward to seeing where their careers take them next.
