On September 19th, 2024, FRISSBE took an active role in the Solar Panel Installation Conference at the MOS Fair in Celje. Dr Aleš Jug, Head of the Fire Research and Innovation Section at FRISSBE, delivered a presentation on "Fire Safety of Photovoltaic Systems." He addressed the growing challenges and risks associated with solar panel installations on rooftops, highlighting critical considerations for fire safety as solar energy continues to spread across Slovenia.

Alongside him, Nik Rus from the FRISSBE team also attended the conference. Although not presenting, Nik contributed to the discussions, sharing insights and engaging with other experts and stakeholders to support the development of enhanced safety guidelines for solar panel installations.

This event provided FRISSBE with a valuable opportunity to engage with industry professionals, exchange ideas, and collaborate on improving fire safety in the context of renewable energy.
