Ines Cilenti, Fire Safety Engineer and FRISSBE PhD Fellow, was invited by Giovanni Cosma (Senior Fire Consultant at JENSEN HUGHES) to give a guest lecture in the Master in Fire Safety Engineering course “Human Behaviour” at the University of Bolzano.
On Friday 27th, Ines delivered a presentation entitled "Dinamica della folla” (Eng.: Dynamics of the crowd), where she emphasized the necessity of understanding the dynamics of the crowd, and the importance of translating it into a coherent model that helps us to predict the local stress phenomena that can compromise the safety of an event in order to be able to evaluate their occurrence and prevent them through an appropriate crowd management strategy. It is a work based on her Master's Thesis Project developed within the IMFSE.
