Professor and ERA Chair holder for the FRISSBE project, Grunde Jomaas, has recently been awarded Honorary Status as a Visiting Professor at The Universty of Edinburgh. The title is awarded to individuals who hold or have held a Chair in their own academic institution and will make a significant contribution to teaching or research.

This excellent news, confirmed by a letter from the Vice-Principal and Head of College at the university, Professor David Robertson, is another recognition of Grunde’s outstanding achievements so far. The role of visiting professor in the School of Engineering lasts until December 2022.
