FRISSBE researchers Ulises Rojas Alva and Laetitia Marrot attended the InnoRenew CoE International Conference 2022 (IRIC 2022) on the theme “Rethinking buildings and materials for a sustainable future”, which included two days of presentations, workshops, and a tour of the impressive InnoRenew building - the largest #wooden building in Slovenia.

Dr. Rojas Alva presented the first results of a joint work with InnoRenew on the “Reaction to fire characterization of densified-processed poplar and beech”. The conference gathered more than 60 international experts and scientists, facilitating scientific exchanges, networking and potential collaborations.
