Martin Veit and Prof Grunde Jomaas presenting at "Light" Event

On the 11th of June, Prof Grunde Jomaas  and Martin Veit, PhD student in the FRISSBE project, represented FRISSBE in a ZAG mini-symposium named “Light and human-centric buildings in the digital age”. The event included 50+ people from the industry and researchers, to talk about light in buildings. The keynote was held by Dr Anders Thorseth from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), where he talked about the challenges of measuring light.

Prof Grunde Jomaas talked about the research challenges at ZAG and in Slovenia, and Martin Veit talked about using artificial intelligence to detect glare and control shading devices to allow for maximum daylight while mitigating glare. You can see more of this mini-symposiun in the next video.
