Tadej Kokalj (COMPETE) and Grunde Jomaas (FRISSBE) met for lunch in Ljubljana on March 31^st. It was the first meeting between these two ERA Chair holders, and they had a great conversation over lunch in the city center. They also discussed research opportunities, collaboration possibilities and exchanged experiences related to their ERA Chair projects. Both Tadej and Grunde have a very international background with research experience from many countries, so they enjoyed sharing observations and some of the knowledge that has resulted from being exposed to and immersed in different research systems and cultures. They plan to meet on a regular basis, and the kick-off event for Tadej and COMPETE will provide an excellent opportunity to meet in May.
