Hidria, the largest automotive supplier in Slovenia, recently installed new photovoltaic (PV) systems on the rooftops of two of its five production sites. To address the associated risks and enhance safety awareness, they organized an event with an invited lecture that was held by our researcher, Nik Rus.

The event included the participation of local volunteer firefighter brigades. It began with a tour of one of the locations, highlighting the PV systems and showing the firefighters the positions of shutdown buttons and access points to rooftops. Following this, Nik gave a presentation about our PV Guideline, which was followed by a lively debate addressing various questions from the audience about safety measures and handling of the PV systems.
