Recently published paper related to fire safety of photovoltaic systems on roofs
The ERA Chair holder, Grunde Jomaas, recently published another paper related to fire safety of photovoltaic systems on roofs. It was a collaboration with Universiti Putra Malaysia and we hope to continue our collaboration on this very interesting topic
One of the key findings in the paper entitled “Fault tree analysis of fires on rooftops with photovoltaic systems” is that an annual fire incident frequency of 29.3 fires per GW installed capacity was calculated. The paper is available as open access for the first 50 days after publication and can be accessed here.
